- Booking details. The date and time of a call you schedule with us.
- Basic technical data. IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, collected automatically when you visit the site.
We do not ask for and do not want government identification numbers, payment card numbers, or health information through this site.
02How we collect it
You give it to us directly through the chat widget on this site, by replying to a text or email, or by booking a call. Technical data is collected automatically by the site and our hosting provider.
03How we use it
- To reply to you and answer what you asked.
- To schedule, confirm, and follow up on calls.
- To send customer care messages about an active conversation or engagement.
- To send occasional promotional messages, if you opted in to receive them.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site.
- To meet legal and record keeping obligations.
04Mobile numbers and SMS consent
No mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt in data and consent are never shared with any third party. This information is used only to message you on behalf of Ballast Operating Co.
Mobile information may be passed to service providers that help us deliver messages, such as our messaging platform, and only so they can send the message you asked for. Those providers are contractually barred from using it for anything else.
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.
05Who else sees your information
We share information only with service providers who need it to run the business, and only for that purpose. That includes our CRM and messaging platform, our email provider, our scheduling tool, and our website host. We also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with data brokers. We do not buy or sell leads.
06Cookies and analytics
The site and the chat widget use cookies and similar technology to keep the widget working and to understand basic site traffic. You can block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may stop the chat widget from working.
07How long we keep it
We keep contact and conversation records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and tax obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Opt out records are kept indefinitely so we do not message you again by mistake.
08Your choices
- Texts. Reply STOP to any message.
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Access or deletion. Email us and we will provide, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to any legal retention duty.
Texas residents and residents of other states with privacy statutes may have additional rights. Contact us and we will honor them.
09Security
We use reputable vendors, restrict access to the people who need it, and secure the site with HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10Children
This site is for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor gave us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Material changes to how we handle mobile information will be posted here before they take effect.
